Fearne Cotton Redefining “Literally” on Radio1

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Not only was a Kasabian track recently “literally incredible”, which is hard to believe. But also this morning Fearne managed to claim another album was “literally flying off the shelves”.

This woman is literally brilliant. I am going to have to listen to her show, and ring in. Radio 1 from 10am to 12:45pm each day. Each day. It’s literally a goldmine of literallies. Figuratively.

Fearne Cotton: I was literally dragged through this book

Friday, August 14th, 2009

I am now following Fearne Cotton on Twitter. Which as a man “obsessed with the L-word” is a little like a man with a cat allergy licking kittens.

She tweeted “Book club time http://bit.ly/ahObX“. I pounced on it, and was rewarded with “I was literally dragged through this book squirming, gasping and wincing”. Which is a wonderful image, replete with paper cuts.

Hours earlier she did tweet “Dog in a puffa jacket, genius!” which shows a rather poor regard for the meaning of genius too.
